We woke up early at 3:30. Leslie was nice enough to give us a ride to the airport. Our first flight to Altanta left at 7:30. After a 3 hour layover, we headed to Costa Rica. We arrived in San José around 7:30 a little ahead of schedule. We went through customs and met our guide, Heidy, out front. We had to wait for another group that came from Nebraska. So, naturally, the kids started arm wrestling one another. Around 9:00, we got to the hotel, the Gran Costa Rica in downtown San Jose. The hotel was built in 1930.
